About William N. Zifchak

William N. Zifchak is of counsel to Sasscer, Clagett & Bucher, where his practice continues to focus on insurance defense and personal injury litigation. He has over 40 years of courtroom experience, and is well-known among his peers as an accomplished trial lawyer. He is an “AV Preeminent” Rated Attorney, and has successfully tried more than 600 personal injury and defense cases to verdict.

William Zifchak graduated in 1964 graduate from St. Anselm College in Manchester New Hampshire, where he was a member of its nationally ranked intercollegiate debate team. Following graduation, he began his legal studies at Georgetown University Law Center in Washington, D.C. Two years later, he left Georgetown for the U.S. Army and a one-year tour of duty with the 4th Infantry Division in Vietnam, where he reached the rank of Sergeant E-5, was awarded the Bronze Star medal, and honorably discharged. He then returned to Georgetown, obtained his Juris Doctor degree and, in 1976, joined SCB.

Mr. Zifchak is married, with 2 grown children, and enjoys golf and fishing.
