Attorney Bios

Maureen Glackin is a partner at the firm of Sasscer, Clagett & Bucher. Her practice is concentrated in the area of domestic law and she is widely sought for her extensive experience representing military service members. As a former military dependent, Ms. Glackin innately understands the unique challenges facing the military service member and spouse during divorce, custody and child support cases.

This unique area of expertise, coupled with her detailed understanding of the Uniformed Services Former Spouses' Protection Act and the Servicemember's Civil Relief Act, has made Ms. Glackin a frequent guest lecturer to professional groups and other associations. Having continued to practice law during extensive travel with her now retired Navy spouse, she is licensed to practice law in California, the District of Columbia, Maryland, and Washington State.

Since joining the firm in 2006, Ms. Glackin has successfully tried complex domestic law cases involving businesses, self-employed individuals, child custody, and child support, in Maryland and other jurisdictions.

Most recently, Ms. Glackin completed the Advanced Associate Training Course with the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers.

Ms. Glackin is a graduate of Villanova University and the Temple University School of Law.
